Probably The Only One Of The More Recent Trips We Took (That Might Interest You Folks Here) Is The One To Columbus, Ohio! (And, No I Didn't Spot Casey Anthony in an OSU Cap, BUT, I Did see a Hella Lot Of Other Folks In Said Attire!)
We Ended Up Stayin' Very Near The Ohio State University Campus...
Man, There's Red & White & OSU On Everything Up There...
I Do Believe I Coulda Painted Some Dried Dog Turds Red and White & Stuck a Little Flag In 'Em With OSU On Top, And Sold 'Em At a Roadside Stand & Made a Few Bucks! (More On That Idea In a Moment...)
We Trekked up to Columbus 'Cause Mrs. Rocket Has Wanted To See Keith Urban For Several Years...So, What Makes Mama Happy...(You Know The Rest!)
Now, I'm NOT a Keith Urban Fan A-Tall! (I've Heard Some of His Tunes On The Radio And He Just Don't Move Me One Way Or Another...)
Anyway, The Concert (To My Surprise) Was Really Good!
The Way He Worked The Crowd (Which was Probably 2/3 Female) Was Really Good!
We Had Great Seats, And a Couple Times The Man Himself Came Within A Few Feet Of Us...Mrs. Rocket Could Almost Reach Out & Touch Him (But Not For Lack Of Tryin')

Keith's Second Guitarist (Pictured Below in Red...) Brian Nutter Reminded Me Of Dan Baird From The Early 80's: Skinny, Long Hair, Jeans, Converse Tennies...Couldn't tell IF He Had A Gap In His Front Teeth, But It Really Took Me Back!
Overall, Keith Knows The Right Moves & Notes That Make The Girls Happy & Scream, BUT, In Concert, He Adds Some Guitar Solos & Jams That Make the Guys Glad They Came!
NOTE: What Was Just Gonna Be a Couple Day Trip, Took Longer 'Cause We Came Down To Cincinnati And Took A Right Back Home To Indiana To Visit My Crazy Uncle! (He Also Has Red & White All Over His House - Which Is For Indiana University, Though!) BUT, I Coulda Sold Him at Least A Dozen Of Them Dog Turds IF They'd Had IU Flags In Them...Seriously!
